Park Road Reopens from 1 December
From Monday 1 December, the Kastanjedreef — a key artery through Tervuren — will reopen, allowing traffic to pass through the park after months of disruption linked to construction of the F29 cycle highway.
Tervuren to remain in the dark
Tervuren’s street lighting will continue to switch off at midnight. Town officials recently rejected a proposal by French-speaking councillor Serge Liesenborghs (TervurenUnie+Volt) to keep public lighting on until 1am, notably to cover the last tram 44. Boat House Set to Reopen
The new operators, chef and media personality Loïc Van Impe, hospitality manager Kevin Schietecatte and events specialist Tom Cumps, were selected following a public competition launched by the town. Their proposal stood out, officials say, for its accessible and largely home-made food offering, broad opening hours and the team’s extensive experience in both gastronomy and events.
