St. Paul’s is marking Easter with a series of events that began with a Maundy Thursday meal. The range of events includes a sunrise resurrection celebration in Tervuren Park and concludes with a Service of Easter Carols on Sunday, 27 April.

Tervuren Market got a flavorful taste of Benin, Madagascar, Togo, and Uganda this week, as Jean-Marie, a seasoned fruit grower and caterer, brought his vibrant, organic produce fresh from Benin and beyond. It was his debut at the local market — a departure from his usual seven-market-a-week circuit across Belgium.

Tervuren has found €140,000 for the Hee Tervuren music festival, booking popular Flemish artists such as Berre, Zornik, and Niels Destadsbader. But councillor Elmo Peeters (Groen+Vooruit) is raising concerns over the budget and noise levels for the 5-6 July event. Peaks are expected to exceed Flanders’ 100-decibel limit, possibly lasting until 3am on the town’s central square.
