Independent Tervuren news

Author Archives: Dafydd ab Iago

"News desert is the term for the lack of local and small-scale reporting," says Dafydd ab Iago, a journalist for nearly 30 years, with a focus on European and global politics. Aside from volunteering for Tervuren+, he currently serves as president of API-IPA, the Brussels association of foreign correspondents, and vice-president of the Press Club Brussels. Dafydd also takes pride in being a jury member for the Daphne Caruana Prize for Journalism — an annual award honouring investigative reporting.
